Libations

I mean who doesn’t love a good drink!  I have been very fortunate to savor adult beverages all over the world from Singapore Slings at the famous Long Bar in Raffles Hotel to Pisco Sours in Lima, Peru, to Champagne in Reims, France, Mescal in Mexico City, Sakura Cocktails in Tokyo, Japan, Chardonnay in Napa Valley, Whisky sampling in Dublin, Ireland, Vermut in Barcelona, Hurricanes at Pat O’Brien’s in New Orleans, Frothy Pints of Beer in London, Martinis in Los Angeles, Absinthe in Amsterdam, Sherry in Jerez del la Frontera, Manhattan’s in Manhattan, and I’ve sipped on Aperol Spritzes over looking the canals of Venice. There are so many wonderful drinks to enjoy! I love imbibing in beautiful places.  Why not, when the world is at our finger tips through the taste experience in our cup?  So, I hope to share this experience with you in the posts below.  I have titled this section “Libations”, because every good drink should start with a toast to the gods for the bounty of goodness we get to enjoy! The best life begins with appreciation. Cheers!
